Description:

The Master of Interdisciplinary Studies program is seeking a current SUU graduate student to assist in Website maintenance, diverse communication efforts, analyzing and interpreting data to enable informed planning and decision-making.

Tasks will include Website curation, assessment, student and alumni outreach, newsletter design

This student will Gather data, apply statistical and analytical techniques to data, identifying trends based on the results of their calculations and projections

This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in communication, data, statistics, and analytics. Graduate students need not be from the Interdisciplinary program to apply

Qualifications:

  • Must be a current SUU graduate student.
  • Must be self-directed, proactive, and reliable.
  • Ability to summarize and interpret data, evaluate important assumptions, and draw appropriate conclusions based on data sets.
  • Motivated to strive for accuracy.
  • Effective written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Ability to seek clarification and receive feedback on products and performance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with statistics. Experience with professional communication tasks and writing skills. A willingness to learn and improve.**
